Paul Nenni, CPA, RFC Owner

Member of AICPA & Ohio Society of CPAs Paul Nenni, CPA (Certified Public Accountant), RFC (Registered Financial Consultant), Owner, was a partner in the predecessor firm, Nelson & Nenni. He acquired his partner, Sam Nelson's, interest on January 1, 1995 and currently operates the firm as sole owner. He has over 35 years of experience in accounting and management advisory services with special emphasis in the area of tax and retirement planning. Born in Huntington, WV, he came to Middletown in 1955 where he attended St. John and St. Mary grade schools and graduated from Fenwick High School in 1966. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps after graduation and served as a Radar Air Traffic Controller in Vietnam 70-71. He graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 1973 an was a member of Beta Alpha Psi, the accounting honorary society. Upon graduation from college, Mr. Nenni joined a national CPA firm and was admitted to practice as a CPA in February, 1976. He has experience in in all types of industries and professions with particular expertise in non-profit organizations, retail, restaurants and light manufacturing. Installation of computerized accounting systems and local area networks (LAN) are also main areas of involvement. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of CPA's, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Knights of Columbus. Elected to the Middletown City Commission in 1992, Mr. Nenni served as Chairman of the City Commission in 1993 and retired after 8 years in public service. Paul enjoys traveling, golfing, camping, and horseback riding. He is married to the former Cecelia Vogelsang and resides in Middletown with their two daughters Monica and Christina.
Dana Picard, CPA Director of Tax and Accounting Services

Member of Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants Dana Picard is a graduate of Miami University (Oxford, OH) in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Upon graduation from college, Ms. Picard worked for national and regional CPA firms and was admitted to practice in Ohio as a Certified Public Accountant in 1980 and in Michigan in 1996. She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). Ms. Picard has served as a board member of St. Monica School and the Kalamazoo Junior Women's Club. Dana enjoys snow skiing, hiking, and charity work. She resides in Middletown with her husband Phil and two children Brian and Amee.



 
Mary Black Office Supervisor

Mary has a broad and a varied background in bookkeeping and payroll services Mary K. (Daley) Black holds an Associate Degree in accounting from Miami University and is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the firm. She has been with the firm since 1986. Mary lives in Franklin with her husband, Tony and three children. Her hobbies include bowling, billiards, and camping.







 

Tricia Thigpen, Accounting Department

Areas of Expertise: Accounting for small business and nonprofit entities Tricia is responsible for directing a variety of accounting engagements, including those for manufacturing companies and nonprofit entities. Sinclair Community College and Miami University graduate with an associate degree in Accounting.

Tricia is recently associated with the firm in 2006. Tricia resides in Middletown with her husband and four children.



 

Julie Couch, Payroll Department

Julie is responsible for the day-today payroll service operations, including quarterly payroll taxes.

She also prepares the office scheduling.

Julie lives in Carlisle with her husband, Tracy and daughter Danielle.
